Baptisms 

Those pursing to become true children of God, will need three spiritual foundations:

First, to be born-again. Secondly, baptized by water immersion and then be baptized with the Holy Spirit. 

John 3:3-8 :

3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. 8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. 

We must be born again to enter His kingdom. It is a requirement and it is a command if we are to be His sons and daughters. Also, we can see from scripture that being truly born again is not just a one-time confession we make, but it is a spiritual birth into the Kingdom of God by the Spirit of God for those who He sees are genuinely wanting Him. When He sees your genuineness; that yes, you want Him 100%, it is He who comes to give you a new spirit that can connect with Him and worship Him in spirit and in truth.

It is very important to be born again by His Spirit , we cannot enter into His Kingdom unless we are born by His Spirit. We also cannot even receive His Spirit and the deeper things of His Kingdom unless we have been truly born again by His Spirit and received a new heart (spirit) that God foretold in Ezekiel 36:26-27

26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.  27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. 

God was talking about the new birth of your spirit into His Kingdom. Afterwards you will qualify to receive His Spirit. We can see that the first step to even receive the Holy Spirit is to be given a new heart by God which is the new birth. Your heart is actually your spirit. Unless we are truly born again by Gods Spirit we don’t belong to Him. This is why Jesus said of the Pharisees; Your lips honor Me, but your heart is far from Me. 

Once we are truly born again by His Spirit, God takes out the stony heart that Satan hardened and gives us a new heart, a heart of flesh. The new heart is the new spirit of light that God puts in you to know Him. This new heart of flesh is connected to the Spirit of God now and enables us to be true spiritual children of God. God receives us as suchwhen He borns us again by His Spirit. This new birth into the Kingdom of light enables us also to worship Him the way He desires. God desires true worship. In John 4: 21-24,

21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. 22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. 23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
